The locals travel a lot on a bicycle, streetcar and ferry!  You can’t get that anywhere else!!!

New Orleans has a little of everything to offer for your shopping trip!  You may want to spend some downtime perusing the best the French Quarter has to offer.  No two stores in New Orleans are alike.  Along Magazine or Royal Street you can buy handmade crafts or clothes or check out small art galleries or cool architecture.  New Orleans has several art markets or antique stores if you’re looking for that unique gift you won’t be able to find anywhere else.  Lastly, it wouldn’t be New Orleans without peeking your head into a voodoo shop in the French Quarter!

Super Bowl XLVII Dining

When people think of food in the Big Easy, the first thing that comes to mind is delicious Cajun cuisine.  Your Super Bowl XLVII dining experience would not be complete unless you tried some homemade gumbo or jambalaya with some red beans and rice!  Don’t forget to wash it all down with a New Orleans specialty, a hurricane! Odds are, if you’re heading to the Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, you’re already excited about going to Bourbon Street.  This road is made famous from the plentiful parties that take place each February for Mardi Gras.  If you’re looking for more than just a huge party, New Orleans is the birthplace of jazz!  On any night of the week, local jazz clubs boast a lineup that would make any other city jealous.  If you’re looking for something up tempo or low key, you’ll find it in the Big Easy!!!
